Questions we actually get
What remote management options are available?
Every eligible server includes access to the IPMI management interface via our secure out-of-band network. Where the hardware supports it, you also get full KVM console access, meaning you can see and control the server exactly as if you were sitting in front of it.
Can I access my server if the OS crashes or the network goes down?
Yes. IPMI is out-of-band: it runs on a separate management network and separate power rail. Even if your OS hangs or you lock yourself out of the network, you can still reach the console and recover.
What is KVM console access?
KVM-over-IP gives you a full graphical or serial console into the server: you can see the BIOS, watch the boot sequence, and interact with the OS just like a local keyboard and monitor. Available on supported hardware.
Managed or unmanaged?
Both. Unmanaged gives you full root access and you run the show. Add our managed hosting layer for proactive monitoring, OS patching, and backups handled by our team.
Where are servers located?
In our Toronto-based infrastructure. Your data stays in Canada.
